We are aiming to do this by :

Visiting schools and sharing our stories and experiences. Shedding a little light on what really is “cool” - e.g. keeping your skin on your back by wearing the correct protective clothing - and what isn’t - like killing a friend by drink driving.

Fundraising to open our own counseling service, to help those affected by accidents. This will be facilitated by people who are familiar with motorcycles, and who therefore understand the perspective of those needing help.

Campaigning to get the 'all angle' mirrors made mandatory on UK roads will not only help to improve vision and therefore reduce accidents, but that extra vision will result in a more convenient driving experience. The driver would be able to see all angles in the normal one glance rather than having to look to the current blind spot mirrors. As a consequence this will eliminate the “I didn’t see them” excuse.

Also campaigning to change the layout of certain roads which will help to reduce the amount of accidents, and by getting the council to repair roads in a more expedient fashion it will make life easier and safer for everyone.

Additionally, the inclusion of motorcycle related questions in car theory tests and more motorcycle elements in the hazard perception test will encourage drivers to be more vigilant and aware of bikers.

Here at The Laurence Law our aims are:

*  to promote road safety

*  educate new road users

*  provide counseling for anyone who has been

    affected by a motorcyle accident

*  get 'all angle' mirrors made mandatory

*  change the car theory test

*  change layouts of certain roads and their

    conditions

    And much, much more .............
